**Ice packs or cold compresses may be applied to the injected area in 20-minute intervals to reduce swelling (most effective during the first two days).
**Following treatment there may be brusing,redness, swelling, tenderness, aching and/or an itching sensation to the treated area. This is a normal result of the injections and generally disappears in a day or two,. Expect the bruising will take longer to subside (up to a week or longer depending on the individual).
the treated area for 6 hours following the procedure after which time your face can be gently washed with soap and water, and make-up applied.
*Sleep on your back for two (2) nights
to avoid disturbing the product while it is still malleable.
firm pressure on the treated area for two weeks, such as facials or massages.
exposing the treated area to intense heat or sunbathing/sunlamps until any redness/ swelling subsides. This decreases the risk of further or increase bruising, which can last 5-10 days.
any heat-producing laser treatments to the face for 14 days to avoid decreasing the effectiveness of your results.
alcohol, NSAIDS (Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin), Aspirin,St John’s Wort, Omega Fatty Acids, Ginseng,or high doses of Vitamin E supplements for one week after treatment if you wish to minimize the risk/severity of bruising.
exercising or activity where your head is facing downwards (e.g., gardening) during the first day of the treatment.
